The client is a digital agency that enables engagement through promotions that forge lasting brand connections and have a positive impact on brands, consumers, and communities. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A Full Stack Developer who is experienced with both Front-End and Back-End development and who is looking for a 6-month contract to augment our staff. The contract will run from May to October, with the possibility of extending for a longer allocation.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who can work during normal business hours Eastern Standard Time and is amenable to work remotely.
As a Developer, you will work directly within our in-house Technology department to develop next-level promotions and digital experiences tied to marketing, events, retail, social media, web, mobile, AI, AR, eComm, Voice – no boundaries in a transforming digital ecosystem. This position requires strong collaboration with our Development & Creative teams to help execute projects in a timely manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Develop projects across an array of clients, taking direction from senior Development team members.
– Unit testing projects to ensure they adhere to project requirements and complete the Project Development Checklist prior to launch.
– Lead internal stage reviews of project builds and address all bugs/tickets found during the QA process in a timely manner.
– Ability to multitask, work on multiple projects, and ask clarifying questions.
– Actively pursue opportunities to contribute ideas, and improve professional skills and knowledge to “always be pushing creative boundaries” in optimally using technology to drive marketing.
– Ownership of work and accountability for successful execution.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
– Minimum 3-5 years of marketing/creative agency experience as a developer.
– Team player, self-starter, innovation-inspired, and persistent troubleshooter comfortable working within an entrepreneurial-spirited, creative team culture.
– Solid working experience in PHP 8.
– Knowledge of the MVC frameworks, ideally Laravel.
– Ability to use design tools like Photoshop, XD, and Figma to translate designs to site builds.
– Strong front-end skills with JavaScript, specifically Vue.js.
– Great CSS skills including Tailwind.
– Knowledge of ADA and how to build a site to comply.
– Webpack and Vite for JS compilation.
– API development and integration with 3rd party services.
– Knowledge of MySQL and the ability to write queries from scratch.
– Basic abilities on a Linux server.
– Strong emphasis on writing highly testable code.
– Excellent communicator and ability to work on multiple projects without sacrificing code quality.
– Understanding modern software architecture design.
NICE TO HAVE
– Knowledge of CCPA, ISO and GDPR compliance.
– Using Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Elastic Transcoder, etc.).
– Knowledge of CI/CD principles.
– Command line guru in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment (Bash, GIT).
– Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and API.
